Our approach

Built by us.
Used with you.

Glimpse has designed and built its own computer vision analytics platform since 2017, and runs it for some of the best-known names in retail.

Working with us starts with a Proof of Concept in your own stores and continues with named people and quarterly reviews against goals you set.

Why Glimpse

Three things you can hold us to

We build it

Our own computer vision, since 2017

We design, build and run our own computer vision and analytics platform, with product and engineering teams in the UK, Europe and the USA. When a doorway, a camera angle or a crowd affects accuracy, the people who fix it are the people who wrote it.

We prove it first

A Proof of Concept before any rollout

Every engagement starts in a few of your own stores, with success criteria agreed up front and counts checked against manual counts before you rely on them. Rollout is priced only once the Proof of Concept has made the case.

We stay

Named people, quarterly reviews

A named project lead gets you live, and a named Client Success manager stays with you after that. Every quarter we review progress against the criteria you set and agree what to do next.

Proof of Concept

Your first step: a Proof of Concept in your own stores

The Proof of Concept is the first thing every Glimpse client buys. It's a fixed-fee engagement in a small number of pilot stores agreed with you in Discovery.

POCs are typically delivered in 8–12 weeks, and result in measured evidence from your own estate and a business case your leadership can approve.

Included

What the PoC includes

A site survey and zoning plan for each pilot store. Installation on your existing CCTV, with Glimpse Sensors or a portable Glimpse in a Box where cameras don't cover what's needed. Counts QA'd against manual counts. Portal access and training. Four weeks of live data with a weekly review. An executive review at the end.

You provide

What we need from you

A project sponsor and a day-to-day lead. The objectives and KPIs you'll judge us on. Store plans, camera and network details, and a security and compliance contact. Site access and installation windows. Transaction counts for the pilot stores, so we can measure conversion.

You get

What you get out of it

Validated passer-by, footfall, capture-rate and conversion data for your pilot stores, plus in-store measures such as dwell and queues where they're in scope. A QA report on accuracy. Our analysis and recommendations. A business case and a rollout roadmap ready for investment approval.

Next

What happens next

If the Proof of Concept meets the criteria agreed in week one, we plan the rollout with you: a phased programme across your locations, priced on the deployment you agree. Your Client Success specialist carries on from pilot to estate.

Proof of Concept timeline

Twelve weeks from kick-off to business case

A typical Proof of Concept runs 8–12 weeks. This is the full version, week by week.

Week 1

Objectives

Kick-off. We agree the objectives, the KPIs, the products to deploy and the success criteria the Proof of Concept will be judged on.

Week 2

Survey and design

We assess camera views and coverage, produce a zoning plan of footfall lines and dwell areas, and confirm the project plan.

Weeks 3–6

Install and validate

Processing hardware deployed and connectivity confirmed. Counts calibrated and QA'd against manual counts. Your team trained on the Portal.

Weeks 7–10

Live data

The Proof of Concept runs on live data. We analyse it as it comes in and review it with your team every week.

Weeks 11–12

Executive review

Results, recommendations and the business case presented to your leadership, with the QA report and a rollout roadmap for investment approval.

Working with us

What we commit to

Partnership only means something when it's specific.
This is what every Glimpse client gets:

Commitment What it means in practice
Named ownership A named project lead owns the plan, the milestones and the communication from kick-off to go-live. A named Client Success specialist owns the relationship after that, and our technical specialists take clear ownership of every support request.
Success criteria Agreed with you in week one of the Proof of Concept, and the yardstick for every review that follows.
Review cadence Weekly during Proof of Concept data collection. An executive review at the end of the Proof of Concept. Quarterly success reviews once you're live, tracking progress against your criteria and agreeing the priorities for the next quarter.
Deliverables A QA report on counting accuracy. Executive reporting on results, recommendations and the business case. Insight workshops. Dashboards and scheduled reports for store and head-office teams, and data into your own BI through our API.
Accuracy Counts validated against manual counts before go-live, so the first number you act on is one you can trust.
Growth Expansion planning once the success criteria are met: more stores, more measures, new questions.
In practice

Recommendations our clients have acted on

Moved concessions and reworked the layout

A luxury department store used engagement and dwell data from its existing CCTV to reposition concessions and change the store layout, and shared the same view of performance with its concession partners.

Benchmarked 650 stores on one measure

A national retailer replaced partial data with one consistent footfall measure across 650 stores, so its operational and commercial teams could compare store against store and act on the cost-saving opportunities that showed up.

Fixed what was skewing the count

An international retailer's counts were being thrown by doorway obscuration and group arrivals. We identified both, applied targeted refinements and revalidated against manual counts.

Your Proof of Concept starts here.

A Discovery Session is a structured conversation about your estate, your challenges and your objectives.
You leave with a clear view of what success would look like and what a Proof of Concept would involve and deliver.

No obligation. No hard sell. Just a clearer view of what's possible.
